2.3 Generating and Playing Tool Paths
Generating Tool Paths
Example images loaded from the [Examples] tab already have tool paths and drawing settings applied, so manual tool path generation is not required.
Objects without a tool path will not be drawn.
Generating Tool Paths for Individual Objects
To generate tool paths for specific objects, follow these steps:
Select the object to generate a tool path.
Navigate to [Drawing] > [Process] and click [Generate Tool Path].

Assign a Tool Path Name.
Click [Save] to complete the tool path creation.

📌 Note:
When generating tool paths individually, the number of objects in the object list must match the number of tool paths created.

Generating Tool Paths for Multiple Objects at Once
To apply the same tool path settings to all objects in a drawing:
Select all objects by either:
Dragging across the work area.
Holding Shift and selecting all objects in the Object List.
Navigate to [Drawing] > [Process] and click [Generate Tool Path].

Assign a Tool Path Name.
Click [Save] to complete the tool path creation.

2. Generating and Previewing G-Code
After tool path creation, click [Generate G-Code & Preview] at the bottom of the screen.

In the preview window, confirm that the generated tool paths are applied correctly.
If any tool paths are missing, click [Close Preview] and regenerate the G-Code.

3. Playing the Drawing Process
If a drawing jig is not available, use the preview to estimate where the drawing will be placed and position the paper accordingly.
Secure the paper using tape or hand pressure to prevent movement during drawing.
Click the [Play] button in the lower right corner to start drawing with the robotic arm.
